​FASD is currently in communication with DPS as well as Denver City Parks to finalize our Carline, Parking, and Walk-up procedures. As soon as final decisions are made and approved, we will share the procedures. This information will be shared before the first day of school. Thank you for your patience

Please Note: In the 2026/2027 school year, FASD school days will start at 8:15 AM and end at 3:15 PM
Arrival + Dismissal
K-5 Student Arrival: 8:00am - 8:15am​
K- 5 Class Start Time: 8:15am

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures:

K-5 AM Drop-Off window is 8:00 - 8:15 am. Please allow your student ample time to enter the school, put away their belongings, and join the class without disruption. Classes begin promptly at 8:15am. The Drop-Off car line will end as determined by FASDenver staff so that all students in the car line can be in class by 8:15am. Any families dropping off their student on or after 8:15am, must accompany their student to the Main Office, sign in their student, and the student will be issued a tardy pass.

K-5 PM Pick-Up window is 3:15 - 3:30 pm.

Announce your arrival via the PikMyKid app prior to arriving so your student is added to the queue once you enter the Pick-Up car line or are waiting at the main entrance as a "walker".

Car Line: Students enter the car with the support of staff. Students must be able to independently put on their seatbelt as parents/guardians/parent designees are not able to leave their car to help the child. Please do not use your cell phone while in the car line.​

Any students who are not picked up by 3:30 PM, or pre-enrolled in After School Programs/Study Hall, will go to After School Enrichment and will be charged the Drop-in Rate.

Dismissal Updates with PikMyKid
​
We use PikMyKid to help us plan a safe and smooth dismissal. Please update the app as needed with who is picking up your child and how they are going home (walker or carline).
We know plans can change! Please note that PikMyKid closes for dismissal updates at 12:00 p.m. each day.

We are using MySchoolBucks for Before Care, After Care, and After School Activities sign-up.
​
Make sure that you see French American School of Denver in the top left corner as your district and not Denver Public Schools. If it does say Denver Public Schools in the top left corner, click the arrow for the drop-down menu and select French American School of Denver. Add your child under the French American School of Denver district. If FASD is not an option, select "Add New District." Choose Colorado, and then French American School of Denver as your district.
