Support the Growth of FASDenver

You can help make the French American School of Denver a reality! Our school has always been a community-driven effort that has involved thousands of volunteer hours contributed by parents, educators and community advocates. This school is your school! Join us in reaching our goal of opening Denver’s first public French immersion school in fall 2020.

Post About FASDenver

As a charter school, if we don’t meet 80% our enrollment target during the first round of SchoolChoice, our school will have to delay its opening from the 2020-21 school year to the 2021-22 school year. We’re dedicated to opening in 2020! This is why raising awareness about our school is critical during the SchoolChoice enrollment window January 15th – February 18th, 2020.

Step 1: Download a 1-page PDF about FASDenver (available in English, Spanish and French), 1/2 Page Flyer or our 1/4 page ad:

Step 2: PAPER: Print out copies to post on community boards in your area (ALWAYS ASK first before posting!).

ONLINE: Post the info sheet/ad, along with our URL, on platforms like Nextdoor, Facebook or community blogs. When posting online, add a few of your own words about why you’re excited about FASDenver!

Step 3: Let us know where you posted, so we can thank you for your efforts!

Volunteer at an Upcoming Event

We always need volunteers to help set up, bring snacks, greet families, make crafts with kids and clean up. Take a look at our event calendar and reach out to if you can help. All volunteers get to take home exclusive FASDenver swag!

Host a Community Event

We’re dedicated to connecting with the broad community our school will serve and attracting a diverse group of families to our school. This is why we’re organizing an average of four community events each month to give families the opportunity to learn about FASDenver and ask questions. We see FASDenver as a school that will serve the entire metro Denver area and as such, we want to visit as many neighborhoods as possible!

Events can be held at private homes, church basements, local libraries, rec centers, park playgrounds or other community spaces. We will provide hosts with event planning support and a small budget to cover refreshments and activities. Ready to host? Email us:
